IZOMURA

Izomura is a relentless innovator, re-defining the conventions of R&B with every lyric and instrumental. Moving to Canada as a child, singer-songwriter/producer Vikaash “Izomura” Arunmozhi grew up inspired by the vibrant sounds of South India, his father being a classically trained carnatic vocalist. Following in his footsteps, Izomura began singing and playing the drums as a child.

As his musical perspective grew, so did his range of influences. Inspired by artists like mk.gee and Hozier to pick up the guitar, his new instrument helped him form his freshly experimental style of R&B. Producing all of his own music, Izomura’s blend of ethereal electronic soundscapes, underground samples, distorted drums and a rough-around-the-edges guitar style creates a

signature sound that is unique to the 21-year-old.
